Workshops:
*Book Repair: Learn to rrepair damaged book spines where the cover and text block are still intact.
*Matting: Learn three mounting techniques and about the appropriate materials used in matting. Techniques include the "T" hinge, hingeless corner mounts, and sink mats for glass negatives.
*Digital Photographs: Practice setting up a template, assigning metadata and establishing scanning settings for photographs
*Wood: Learn techniques for the mummification of seat rails: the repair of tacking rails in upholstered seating furniture
*Cataloging and Accessioning Museum and Archival Collections: Gain an understanding of the complex issues of adding to and removing objects from the collection, as well as how to make the objects accessible through cataloging.Register for one site only. All workshops to be held at each location. Registration form
Cost for workshops includes lunch and breaks. Advance Registration is much appreciated!
$40.00 for ICPC members and $50.00 for nonmembers
